    I have completed a PhD in the CFD laboratory, Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur, under the guidance of Professors Vinayak Eswaran and Abhijit Kushari, on a research problem related to spray combustion. Previously, during my master's research, I worked in the Combustion, Gasification, and Propulsion Laboratory (CGPL) at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, under the guidance of Dr. N. K. S. Rajan, on a research problem related to producer gas engines.

    • I am teaching UG and PG students of Mechanical and Production Engineering at NIT Calicut. I do like on-board teaching with chalk and talk; this inspires a mix of knowledge (know) and mastery (show). I do not take any paper notes in class for theory; for tutorials, I keep a problem and solution sheet. I give project-based assignments in the "independent" courses. Generally, students will benefit from the courses I offer. My motive in teaching is to make students "learn, how to learn".
    • Knowledge and experience gained in thermal and fluid sciences through extensive coursework at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, with special emphasis on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and its applications.
    • Research and development experience leading to expertise in alternative fuel utilization and numerical modeling of chemically reacting single and multiphase flows for combustion devices.
    • Interested in CFD (FDM, FVM, FEM, LBM) code development and orientation towards the use of commercial (ANSYS-Fluent) and open source (OpenFOAM) CFD simulation software knowledge for industrial problems.
    • Interested in application of Machine Learning (ML) for fluid flow and heat transfer.
    • Knowledge of High-performance computing and Programming languages for CFD applications.
