The Day Care Centre at NIT Calicut is a facility established to support the children aged 1 to 6 years of faculty, staff, and research scholars by providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment during the working hours of the institution. Experienced staff and caregivers supervise the children and attend to their daily needs, including hygiene, nutrition, rest, and recreational activities.

Measures such as maintaining cleanliness, ensuring proper ventilation, child-proofing the premises, and keeping essential first aid supplies readily available are integral to its functioning. The centre functions under CCTV surveillance to ensure continuous monitoring and enhanced safety.

Working Hours

The Day Care Centre functions from 8:00 am to 5.30pm on all working days of the Institute.

Admission fees:
Rs. 3,000/-

Monthly charge:
Rs. 3,500/- for full day service
Rs. 2,500/- for half day service
