This achievement is a testament to the credentials of the student community and the efforts of the institute in developing innovative teaching methods and career-readiness training programs for the students. Commitment to high quality education and research and efforts to provide opportunities for students to excel in their chosen field of study has had a significant impact in achieving this goal.

In line with the new education policy, the institute has a strong focus on internships at industry and research organisations. The new Centre for Industry-Institute Relations, along with our strong 35000+ alumni network, has ensured strong relationships with both public sector and private industry and other research organisations, both within and outside the country.

NIT Calicut has been incorporating novel teaching methods to make learning more interactive and effective. Consistent efforts were put to improve faculty-student ratio with recruitment of around 200 new faculty with academic and industry experience in India and abroad. The institute introduced various initiatives, curricular and co-curricular activities like flipped classrooms, lectures and interaction with Industry experts through co-teaching, peer-to-peer learning, gamification, and experiential learning to make learning more engaging and exciting for students.

The Centre for Career Development (CCD-NITC) has been providing career-readiness training programs to students to make them industry-ready. The centre has been conducting various training sessions, workshops, coding programs, hackathons and CV clinics to help students develop the necessary skills to excel in their chosen fields. The centre's focus on soft skills, communication, and personality development has helped students to become confident and articulate.

Commenting on this achievement, Dr. Praveen Sankaran, the Chairperson of CCD, said, "We are thrilled to have achieved this milestone and are proud of the achievements of our students. Our faculty, CCD-NITC team and staff have been working tirelessly to ensure that our students get the best opportunities, and this achievement is a testament to their efforts. The recent NBA 6 year full accreditation of our five undergraduate programmes augurs well for the future career prospects of our students".
