UG/PG innovative Projects
The Institute proposes to strengthen the Research & Development (R & D) activities amongst the under graduate/post graduate students and encourages UG/PG students to do innovative projects which can end up in a product/prototype that results in patent/copyright/technology transfer/publications in SCI journals. The financial assistance will be provided to these innovative projects to meet the expenses related to software packages, software development, fabrication/assembly charges, consumables and contingency. This scheme started in 2018 and fund allocated about Rs. 25 lakhs ( allocation by Dean SW) including project funding (Rs. 2 lakhs maximum per batch) and funding for filing patent/copyright/technology transfer and registration charges of SCI/Scopus conferences. This scheme will continue for every year."
