Cdr (Dr.) Shamasundara M. S.
Commander (Dr) Shamasundara M S was a Naval Officer prior to joining the Institute as Registrar. He was commissioned in the year 1999 in Engineering branch of the Navy. He had held various key operational, technical and staff appointments during his 23 years of service in the Indian Navy.
He has served onboard Indian Naval Ships Tir, 21 Mine Sweeping Squadron, Sagardhwani, Jamuna and Ranvijay in various capacities. He has held key technical appointments at Naval Dockyards/ Ship repair Yards at Kochi, Visakhapatnam and Karwar. He has also served as Jt Director at Naval HQ and at DQAWP in DGQA headquarters.
His academic credentials include BE (Mechanical) from JNNCE Shimoga, MS(Manufacturing Management) from BITS Pilani and PhD(Strategic and Supply Chain Management) from College of Defence Management, Secunderabad, Osmania University. He has published many articles in in-house publications and peer reviewed journals.
