NIT Calicut Excels in NIRF 2025 Rankings
The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) has once again proven its academic and research excellence by securing top positions in the Ministry of Education's National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025.
2nd Rank in Architecture & Planning: NITC’s Department of Architecture and Planning has achieved the 2nd position nationally, a remarkable improvement from last year’s 3rd rank. This reflects the department’s strong focus on innovative pedagogy, research, and design excellence.
21st Rank in Engineering: In the highly competitive Engineering category, NIT Calicut has secured the 21st position, reaffirming its place among India’s top NITs.
The awards were presented in New Delhi by the Hon’ble Union Minister of Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, and received on behalf of the institute by Dr. A.V. Babu, Dean (Academic), NITC.
