    About the Department
     
    The Department of Mathematics is one of the oldest departments of the National Institute of Technology Calicut.  In addition to the courses offered for the B. Tech and B. Arch students, the department offers programs leading to Master's Degrees and Ph. D. The Department is also actively involved in conducting faculty development programs for working professionals, academic faculty, and students. The research facilities in the Department are well-maintained and regularly updated with the latest technology. The faculty members are actively involved in sponsored research and consultancy work.
