The hostel was established on 5th December 2002.  PG II Hostel boasts a three-storey structure, and a total of 117 single rooms for students and three guest rooms with attached toilets. Among the guest rooms, two are air-conditioned, while the remaining one is non-air-conditioned. Each floor is equipped with water purifiers to ensure clean drinking water. The hostel features 18 common bathrooms and 18 common toilets, including both Indian and European facilities, along with water heater facilities on each floor.

The hostel's mess hall accommodates 400 students and serves delectable home style food that blends South and North Indian varieties. Additionally, there is a common room equipped with a television and a variety of indoor games such as carom board, chess board, and table tennis.

Presently, the hostel is exclusively for PhD scholars specializing in various engineering and science disciplines. It offers a disciplined and tranquil atmosphere in which residents can focus on their work or find repose in their rooms.  Each room is furnished with a LAN connection, providing high-speed internet access. The well-maintained surroundings include a garden, and the hostel ensures round-the-clock staff availability to address any needs that may arise.

STAFF AVAILABILITY

• For managing hostel activities, warden and a caretaker is available in the hostel from 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM on working days.

• Three numbers of sanitation staffs ensures the cleanliness of hostel and its premises.
