OVERVIEW

C hostel was constructed in the 1960s during the REC period for first year UG students. An additional wing was added to the old block on 14 th August 2006. C hostel has a capacity of 434 students. Total 111 rooms are available to students. Apart from student’s rooms, hostel has an office room, warden’s room, a common room and RT Rooms. The hostel provides various other services like mess and dining area.

• A common room with LED TV, Table Tennis, Carrom Board, Chess Board etc.

• A garden with stone benches

• Common areas with Wi-Fi access

• Mess & dining area

• Accommodation type: 3 sharing

Staff Availability

• For managing Hostel activities, a warden and caretaker are available in the Hostel from 09.00 AM to 5.30 PM in all working days.

• The service of one attendant is also available 24x7.

• C hostel has 4 CCTV cameras (2 in Entrance and 2 in common room) to ensure the hostel security.

• 5 sanitation workers are available from Monday to Saturday (7.30 AM to 4.30 PM).
