OVERVIEW

The foundation stone of G Hostel for Ladies was laid By Shri. P.J. Joseph Hon’ble Minister for Education and Works, Government of Kerala on 9-11-2000. The hostel was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr) P. Rama Rao, Chairman, Board of Governors on June-14-2003. G Hostel is remarkable for its butterfly shaped construction, and it was designed under the guidance of Dr. Chandrasekharan, Founder Director of NITC. A mess & large dining area promote the diverse preference of the residents. Notably, G Hostel is equipped with five water purifiers & dispensers to ensure constant supply of clean drinking water. In addition to the student’s rooms, an office room, common room & three RT rooms are allocated for the smooth functioning of the system.

FACILITIES

The following facilities are provided to students in G Hostel for Ladies

• A common room with LED TV , Table Tennis

• Badminton court

• Chess board, Carrom board etc are provided for creating a healthy and friendly atmosphere among students.

• A mess with dining area

• Accommodation type: Single seated

STAFF AVAILABILITY

• For managing hostel activities, a warden and caretaker are available in the hostel from 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM on working days.

• The service of two attendants per shift is also available in hostel for 24 Hrs.

• Six sanitation workers are available from Monday to Saturday (7.30 AM to 4.30 PM)
