OVERVIEW
B hostel was constructed in the 1960s during the REC period for the first year UG students. An additional wing was added to the old block on 30 th March 2009. B hostel has a capacity of 486 students. Total 132 rooms are available to students. Apart from student’s rooms, the hostel has an office room, visitor’s room, reading room, computer room, warden’s room and RT room. The hostel provides various other services like mess and dining area, co-operative store counter and common room. The service of Resident Tutors is also available to the students.

STAFF AVAILABILITY
For managing hostel activities, two hostel Wardens and a caretaker are available in the hostel from 9.00 AM to 5.30 PM on all working days.
The services of two attendants are is available for 24 hrs
Five sanitation workers are available on Monday to Saturday (7.30 AM to 4.30 PM)
