This is one of the thrust areas of ministry of Information Technology, Govt. of India. This is possible only through specialized programme in Micro Electronics and VLSI Design. The course is well suited for the current academic and industrial needs of India. Employment opportunities are ample in this field as industries recruit engineers on a global scale.
