NIT Calicut to host VAIBHAV Fellow
NIT Calicut will be the host institution for the first VAIBHAV Fellowships for 2023-24. A fellowship-related project on “Development of Lightweight, High-Performance Multicomponent Mg-Based Materials for Industrial Applications will take place at NITC. The NITC team led by Dr. Jagadeesha T., Associate Professor of the Mechanical Engineering Department will host the activities. Prof. Manoj Gupta from the National University of Singapore, VAIBHAV Fellow, will reach NITC.
VAIBHAV Fellowship Program is implemented by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The Fellowship envisages a collaboration between scientists of the Indian Diaspora with Indian Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs), Universities and/ or public funded Scientific Institutions.
