3 day workshop on Integrating Sustainability & ESG Practices in Business for a Greener Kerala, March 5-7, 2026 organised by CST at NIT Calicut
The 3-Day Workshop on “Integrating Sustainability & ESG Practices in Business for a Greener Kerala” is jointly organized by the Centre for Sustainable Technologies (CST), NIT Calicut and the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI). The workshop will be held from 5–7 March 2026 at the CHED Seminar Hall, NIT Calicut. Kerala, being the first Indian state with a comprehensive ESG Policy, provides a strong backdrop for this capacity-building program. The workshop is designed to help MSMEs, industries, start-ups, and professionals understand and implement ESG practices effectively.
Key themes include sustainability concepts, SDGs, triple bottom line, ESG principles, and policy incentives. Participants will gain exposure to ESG performance measurement, KPIs, and benchmarking. The program also covers major ESG reporting frameworks such as BRSR, GRI, SASB, and TCFD. Sessions on resource efficiency, emissions, waste management, worker welfare, and community engagement are included.
