Winner Award for NITC Professor
Dr. V Sivasubramanian, faculty of NIT Calicut, has won the prestigious Winner Award instituted by the New Code of Education. Dr. Sivasubramanian, Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, won the award in the Institute of National Importance Category.
He won the award for his research work on Wastewater Treatment using a novel Rotating Cathode Electrocoagulation reactor (RCEC). The study mainly focussed on industrial textile dye removal, malathion pesticide removal from agricultural runoff and Cephalothin Sodium removal from pharmaceutical wastewater using RCEC.
Dr. Subramanian received the award from Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of National Educational Technology Forum and Ex-Chairman of AICTE and Dr. Ram Sewak Sharma, Chairperson of the Geospatial Data Promotion and Development Committee.
