Victory Day 2026 Celebrated at NIT Calicut
Victory Day 2026, the grand celebration marking the culmination of this year’s sports activities at NIT Calicut, was held on 20 April 2026 with great enthusiasm and pride. The event served as a platform to honour the achievements of winners across various Inter NIT and interdepartmental sports and games, recognising the dedication, sportsmanship, and outstanding performances of both students and staff members. The occasion was graced by Prof. Prasad Krishna, Hon. Director, who attended as the Chief Guest and commended the participants for their commitment to excellence in sports alongside academics. The function was also attended by Dr. Satyananda Panda, Dean (Students Welfare), and Mr. Dhanesh Rambeth, SAS Officer, whose presence added significance to the celebration. The event highlighted the vibrant sporting culture of the institute and reinforced the importance of holistic development through active participation in physical activities.
