UG Orientation Programme at NIT Calicut
The Undergraduate Orientation Programme for the new batch at the National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) was inaugurated by Prof. Parthasarathi Chakrabarti, Former Director of NIT Allahabad and Former Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering, IIT(BHU).
The Presidential Address was delivered by Prof. Prasad Krishna, Director, NIT Calicut, who highlighted that this year’s admissions are among the highest, with a total of 1,437 students enrolled across various UG programmes.
Dr. Babu A.V., Dean (Academics), extended a warm welcome to the students and their families, outlining the academic framework, resources, and support systems designed to ensure a smooth transition into undergraduate studies at NITC.
As part of the event, the Swagatham Handbook was also released, serving as a comprehensive guide for the incoming students.
