Technical Collaboration with Dubai Police Academy
Prof.Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Bin Fahad, Former Director General of Dubai Police Academy visited NIT Calicut on 13 th February 2025. Sri.George T.A,Managing Director of Creative Point LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates & Dr.Jacob George C, Senior Associate Director, Adi Shankara Group of Institutions also accompanied Prof.Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Bin Fahad.
Dr.Fahad has expressed interest in technical collaboration with NIT Calicut. An agreement in this regard was signed by Prof.Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Bin Fahad and Prof. Prasad Krishna, Director of NIT Calicut. Prof. Prasad Krishna has authorized Dr. S D Madhu Kumar, Chairperson CITRA & Dr. Hiran V Nath, Asst. Prof. of Computer Science & Engineering to prepare a formal proposal with all the details of the collaboration.
Dr. S D Madhu Kumar ,Chairperson CITRA has given a detailed overview of activities of CITRA & also listed the possible avenues of collaboration. NIT Calicut will submit a 5-year plan with details of various programs that can be offered to Police Academy Dubai soon.
