TARANG ’26, the Management Fest of the Department of Management Studies, National Institute of Technology Calicut, was inaugurated at NIT Calicut, marking the return of the fest after a three-year hiatus. The fest brings together students, faculty and industry professionals on a common platform to celebrate leadership, creativity, innovation, learning and healthy competition.

The inauguration was attended by Prof. Dr. Prasad Krishna, Director, NIT Calicut; Dr. Sunitha M.S., Dean  Faculty & Staff Welfare; Dr. Satyananda Panda, Dean Student Welfare; Dr. Nithya M., Head, Department of Management Studies; and Dr. Akansha Singh, Faculty Coordinator, TARANG ’26, along with faculty members, staff, students and distinguished guests.

CS. Ashique AM, Founder of M/s Ashique & Associates, Company Secretary and Corporate Consultant, and an alumnus of IIM Kozhikode, was the Chief Guest of Honour. With 22 years of professional experience in corporate law, management consulting, business structuring, compliance and business advisory, he shared valuable industry perspectives with the participants.

The event also acknowledged the support of PeeKay Steel Castings, the Title Sponsor of TARANG ’26. The association reflects the importance of industry–academia collaboration and provides students with opportunities to gain exposure beyond the classroom.

TARANG ’26 serves as a platform for students to exchange ideas, demonstrate their leadership and managerial skills, engage in healthy competition and develop the capabilities needed to become the leaders of tomorrow.
