NIT Calicut proudly inaugurated its renovated Institute Gymnasium "GARUDA"
The renovated Institute Gymnasium "GARUDA" at the National Institute of Technology Calicut was inaugurated by Prof. Prasad Krishna, Director, NIT Calicut, marking another significant step towards strengthening the institute's sports and wellness infrastructure.
The inauguration was held in the presence of Dr. Satyananda Panda, Dean (Student Welfare), Dr. Sunil Jacob John (Registrar in Charge) and Shri Dhanesh Rambeth, SAS Officer, along with faculty members, staff, and students.
The upgraded gymnasium is designed to provide a modern fitness environment, encouraging students, faculty, and staff to adopt healthy lifestyles while promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and holistic development. The enhanced facilities reflect NIT Calicut's continued commitment to creating a vibrant campus that supports excellence not only in academics and research but also in sports and personal wellness.
