Skywatch programme at NITC

A sky observation event to see the sunspot in daylight and Jupiter and other night sky objects at night was organised by the Department of Physics, NIT Calicut. The Amateur astronomy and sky-watching session was led by Dr. Ram Ajor Maurya, assistant professor Department of Physics and Mr. Surendran Punnasseri, an eminent amateur astronomer. More than 40 students participated in the event. Research scholars Sachin R Kanaujiya, Jain Kaco and Rohit Punit ensured technical support for the programme.
