The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT Calicut) has received a generous contribution of ₹2 lakhs from Punjab National Bank towards the enhancement of its daycare center on campus.

The contribution has been utilized for the procurement of essential facilities and resources, including air conditioners, toddler educational tools, learning materials, and play equipment, aimed at improving the overall environment and developmental support for children at the center.

The items were formally handed over to Dr. Shaija A., Dean (Planning and Development), NIT Calicut, by Mr. Rajiv Kumar Poddar, Circle Head, Punjab National Bank, in the presence of Ms. Aswathy A., Branch Manager, Mukkam, and Mr. Bineesh P., Cashier, along with members of the Crèche Management Committee.

Dr. Shaija A. expressed sincere gratitude to Punjab National Bank for their valuable support in strengthening the daycare facilities. She noted that the contribution would significantly enhance both the comfort and learning experience of the children at the center.
