The Post-Budget Webinar on “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas  Fulfilling Aspirations of People” was held on 09 March 2026, focusing on the theme “Education, Skills and University Townships.” The webinar was addressed by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, who shared insights on the Union Budget’s vision for strengthening India’s education ecosystem, enhancing skill development, and promoting the concept of university townships to foster innovation, research, and holistic academic growth.

At National Institute of Technology Calicut, the webinar was attended by Deans, faculty members, staff, and students, who gathered to listen to the Prime Minister’s address and engage with the key ideas presented during the session.

The webinar highlighted the Government’s commitment to inclusive development through strengthened educational infrastructure, improved skill-building opportunities, and the creation of vibrant academic ecosystems that support learning, innovation, and community engagement.

The participation of the NIT Calicut community in this national-level webinar provided an opportunity to gain insights into the policy directions and initiatives outlined in the Union Budget aimed at advancing education and skill development across the country.
