NSS Unit of NITC conducts medical camp

National Service Scheme of National Institute of Technology Calicut conducted a free medical camp at Open Air Theatre on the campus. The initiative covered the faculty, non- faculty and security personal working at NIT Calicut.

The medical checkup was conducted by 15 specialist doctors from general medicine, ophthalmology, orthopedic and dermatology. Over 200 persons benefitted from the camp. Our initiative is to ensure the health and wellness of all the persons working on our campus, said Marvan Saleem, Student coordinator of NSS.

The camp was organised with the support of the doctors and other staff members of KMCT Medical College. The initiative was supported by faculty coordinators Dr. Reju George Mathew, Dr. Praveen Kumar G, Dr. Lintu Rajan and Dr. Anantha Singh TS along with medicos Dr. Ajmal Noor Muhammad and Dr.  Vishnu M. R. from KMCT Medical College.
