Non-Formal Sanskrit Education at NIT Calicut
NIT Calicut is a Centre for Non-Formal Sanskrit Education (NFSE) of the Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi. A One-year Certificate Course in Sanskrit will be conducted in NIT Calicut from 7th September onwards. This course aims to initiate Sanskrit learning and to introduce Science & Literature in Sanskrit language. Anyone can join this course. (Minimum 10 th Pass). No prior knowledge of Sanskrit is required. The course duration is one year. Course fee (including books and exam fee) is Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred (Rs. 1500/-) only. Classes will be conducted every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. in NIT. Those interested can contact Prof. R. Sridharan, Coordinator, NFSE for more information.
