NITC Alumnus gets the distinguished Aryabhatta Award
A distinguished alumnus of NIT Calicut Dr. Subba Rao Pavuluri received the prestigious Aryabhatta Award from the Astronautical Society of India (ASI) for his lifetime contribution to the promotion of Astronautics in India. He is also conferred with the title ‘Distinguished Fellow’ of ASI in recognition of his outstanding contributions and relentless services in the promotion of Astronautics. The award was presented by Shri. S Somanath, President, ASI and Chairman, ISRO in an event held at Ahmedabad on 17th April 2024.
Dr. Subba Rao Pavuluri, a 1973 batch graduate of Regional Engineering College Calicut, now NITC, is the Founder, Chairman & Managing Director of Ananth Technologies, Hyderabad, India. Recently NIT Calicut had signed an MoU with Ananth Technologies for setting up a Satellite Research Centre at NIT Campus.
Ananth Technologies (ATL) is in the business of Design, Development, Re-engineering, Manufacturing, and Marketing of On-board& ground aero-space systems, software, IT products and Engineering Services.ATL was incorporated in 1992 to support the growth of the Indian economy through leveraging aerospace technologies. Their offerings include the manufacture of critical aerospace systems and high-value geospatial services.
