NIT Calicut's IEEE Student Branch has been recognized with the Outstanding Student Branch of the Year Award by the IEEE India Council. This prestigious honor highlights the branch's remarkable contributions to promoting IEEE's mission and its impact on campus.
The award considers factors such as membership growth and retention, the organization of impactful events, research papers published or presented, accolades won, and overall contributions to the academic community.
The award was received by Mr. Abhiram (B.Tech – Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering) and the Chair of IEEE Student Branch NITC. The presentation was made by Prof. Debabrata Das, Chair of IEEE India Council and Director of IIIT Bangalore, during the annual flagship conference held at IIT Kharagpur.
