NIT Calicut Welcomes Yuva Sangam 26 Delegates from Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh on 01 June 2026

As part of Yuva Sangam 2026, a flagship youth exchange program of the Government of India organized by the Ministry of Education, delegates from Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh visited NIT Calicut on 01 June 2026, along with the IIM Kozhikode coordinators and their team. The delegates were welcomed and greeted by the Dean Students' Welfare, Dr. Satyananda Panda, and the Associate Dean, Dr. S. N. Deepa.          

A brief felicitation program was organized in their honor, followed by a campus tour and interactions with members of the institute community. As part of the visit, the delegates toured the Robotics Laboratory, where they were introduced to the institute’s ongoing research, technological innovations, and robotics advancements. The session provided valuable insights into cutting-edge work at NIT Calicut and offered students an opportunity to engage with emerging technologies.

The visit also served as a platform for meaningful interaction among students from diverse regions of the country, encouraging the exchange of ideas, experiences, and perspectives while showcasing NIT Calicut's vibrant academic and research environment. The Yuva Sangam program continues to play a significant role in promoting national integration by fostering cultural understanding, knowledge sharing, and stronger connections among the youth of India, in line with the vision of strengthening unity through experiential learning and people-to-people engagement.
