    NIT Calicut Team Shines at HackFest '24

    Team Loggers from NIT Calicut, consisting of Mohammad Saad Rafeeq, Chandrakant V. Bellary, and Mayank Gupta from the Computer Science and Engineering Department, won 1st runners-up in the HackFest '24 AI Hackathon at IIT-ISM Dhanbad. The team won the position, competing against 745 participants across the country. 

    During the 36-hour event, they developed PlaceMeNow, an AI-based job search and application tool. The platform features a centralized job search, CV reviewer, application builder, and personalized preparation roadmap generator. The tool was designed to assist students, recruiters, and placement cells.
