    NIT Calicut proudly congratulates the winners of the Total Energies Outlook (TEO) Ideathon 2026

    We are delighted to announce that students of NIT Calicut have emerged as winners of the Total Energies Outlook (TEO) Ideathon 2026, held at IIT Gandhinagar. Zia K., Sanav Sajith, and Saaidh Sadh presented their idea titled “Net-Zero Now: An Actionable Framework for Indian Universities” and secured the top position while competing with premier institutions across India.
    The first round of the competition involved the online submission of a five-page report, from which eight teams were shortlisted. NIT Calicut had two teams in the finals: PsiDelta and VoltLoop. Other finalist institutions included IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Gandhinagar, IIPE Visakhapatnam, MVJ Bangalore, and Nirma University Ahmedabad. (Ref: https://teoutlookindiasummit.com/finalist). The final round consisted of a three-minute elevator pitch presented during the summit at IIT Gandhinagar.
