NIT Calicut Joins the "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat" Campaign
The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT Calicut) proudly participated in the "Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat" campaign, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing a healthy, responsible, and empowered youth for a developed India.
As part of the nationwide initiative, more than 200 students assembled on campus to watch the live telecast of the Hon'ble Prime Minister's address. The address underscored the importance of collective efforts in building a drug-free society and called upon the youth to play a leading role in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat.
Following the live telecast, students enthusiastically took the Nasha Mukt Bharat Pledge, expressing their commitment to remaining free from substance abuse and to spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drugs among their peers and communities.
The program reflected NIT Calicut's continued emphasis on holistic student development by promoting values of social responsibility, healthy living, and active citizenship alongside academic excellence. Through its participation in the campaign, the Institute reaffirmed its dedication to empowering students to become responsible citizens and catalysts for positive social change.
