NIT Calicut Inaugurates Advanced Multifunctional Printing Facility at E-Cube Resource Centre
The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT Calicut) has further strengthened its campus infrastructure with the inauguration of a high-capacity, multifunctional printing facility at the Printing Section of the E-Cube Resource Centre, Central Library.
The facility was inaugurated by Prof. Prasad Krishna, Director, NIT Calicut, in the presence of Deans, Heads of Departments, library officials, faculty members, and students.
The newly established facility is designed to cater to the growing academic, administrative, examination, and publication requirements of the Institute. It provides high-volume and high-precision printing services, including single- and double-sided A3 printing for academic and administrative documents, official letterheads, forms, and institutional materials.
The facility also supports the production of A3 posters, certificates, brochures, and A4/A5 booklets with centre-stapling options, catering to the Institute’s publication and event-related requirements. In addition, it provides dedicated printing support for examination answer sheets and official Convocation certificates.
Speaking at the inauguration, Prof. Prasad Krishna highlighted the importance of modernising central campus facilities to provide students, researchers, faculty members, and administrative units with fast, reliable, and high-quality printing services within the Institute.
The new facility is now fully operational at the Printing Section of the E-Cube Resource Centre, further enhancing the academic, administrative, examination, and event-support infrastructure available to the NIT Calicut community.
