NIT Calicut hosts spirited Annual Sports Meet

The vibrant campus of the National Institute of Technology Calicut came alive as it hosted its much-anticipated Annual Sports Meet, Jwala ‘24, a celebration of athleticism and camaraderie. The event, inaugurated by Prof. Prasad Krishna, Director of NIT Calicut, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments.

The day kicked off with the energetic 1500 M running race, setting the tone for a day filled with competitive spirit and sportsmanship. More than 700 athletes showcased their prowess in events like long jump, triple jump, 100X4 relay, shot put, and discus throw, captivating the audience with their skill and dedication.

Adding to the grandeur, the sports meet featured a captivating march past by NCC team and all departments of the institute infusing the atmosphere vibrance and team spirit.
