    NIT Calicut Honored for Women in STEM Excellence

    The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) has been recognized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as one of the top institutions excelling in Women in STEM 2024. The prestigious award was conferred upon NITC at a ceremony held in India Habitat Center at New Delhi on November 19, 2024.

    This recognition underscores NITC's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and the advancement of women in STEM fields. The institute has made significant strides in promoting gender equality in academic leadership and has achieved remarkable results in STEM education. The best practices followed at NITC to promote women are published in the compendium titled "Championing Diversity and Inclusion."
