NIT Calicut excels at IIC regional meet : bags first prize for poster presentation

National Institute of Technology Calicut has excelled in the Southern Region Institute Innovation Council (IIC) Meet, organised by the Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC) and the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) at Cochin University of Science & Technology. NIT Calicut clinched the first prize for the poster presentation, showcasing the impactful IIC activities conducted at the institute from 2022-2023. This recognition comes after competing fiercely against colleges across the southern region.

Representatives from NIT Calicut, including Dr. Kumaravel S (President of IIC), Dr. Nasirul Haque, Convener and Mr. Manu George, actively participated in the event held on January 16.

Dr. Kumaravel S delivered a lecture on Intellectual Property Rights and Technology Transfer. The institute's success at the IIC Regional Meet indicates its commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the academic sphere.
