NIT Calicut Embraces the Spirit of Onam with Vibrant Campus Celebrations .

The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) campus was adorned with a festive spirit as students, faculty, and staff came together to celebrate Onam with traditional fervour and enthusiasm. The celebration began with the creative and intricate designs of the Pookalam (floral carpet) competition. Teams from various departments participated, transforming the campus grounds into a canvas of spectacular floral artistry. The air was filled with excitement as a variety of cultural events unfolded, including traditional music and dance performances that captivated the audience. Delivering the Onam message, Director Prof. Prasad Krishna highlighted the festival's significance in fostering unity and harmony. In a display of community bonding, everyone gathered to enjoy the traditional feast served on banana leaves, featuring a wide array of delicious vegetarian dishes.
