NIT Calicut Celebrates Parakram Divas
The National Institute of Technology Calicut celebrated Parakram Divas to commemorate the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and to honour his extraordinary courage, visionary leadership, and indomitable spirit of sacrifice.
The programme was organised to reflect upon the timeless values embodied by Netaji patriotism, resilience, discipline, and unwavering commitment to the nation which continue to inspire generations even today.
As part of the observance, the official short film released by the Government of India, highlighting the life, ideals, and contributions of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, was screened for the gathering.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Deepa S. N., Associate Dean (Students’ Welfare), and Dr. Teja Reddy Vakalla, Associate Dean (Students’ Welfare), who joined students and staff in paying tribute to one of India’s most revered freedom fighters.
The celebration of Parakram Divas at NIT Calicut served as a meaningful reminder of Netaji’s enduring legacy and reinforced the institute’s commitment to nurturing values of courage, integrity, and national service among the student community.
