National Unity Day celebrated at NITC

Integrity Pledge taken as part of Vigilance Awareness Week

In connection with the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2022, from 31 st October 2022 to 6 th November 2022, the Integrity Pledge was taken by the Faculty and Non-Faculty members and students of NIT Calicut. The pledge issued by the Central Vigilance Commission was administered by Prof. Prasad Krishna, Director of NITC.

As the nation commemorates Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary on October 31st as 'Unity Day' (Rashriya Ekta Diwas), NITC, under the aegis of "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav", hosted an exhibition at NITC auditorium, commemorating Patel's holistic contributions. Prof. Rajanikant Dean Student Welfare delivered the welcome address. Colonel Ramanan, Chief Guest, inaugurated the exhibition and enlightened the gathering on the unwavering will and efforts of Sardar Patel on unifying the princely states to the Indian Nation. A Short video on the life of Sardar Vallabhai Patel, prepared by Naval NCC, NITC, was presented.
