The National Cyber Security Conclave organized  jointly by the Centre for Information Technology Research and Automation (CITRA) of NIT Calicut , Computer Emergency Response Team of India (CERT-IN) and Calicut Innovation and Technology Initiative (CITI 2.0) has started at Nit Calicut today. Prof. Prasad Krishna, Director, NIT Calicut has inaugurated the event today morning.

Mr.Raveendran Kasthuri, former CEO of ULCC and the Director, Strategic Initiatives of Skilllablers Bangalore, Dr.S.D Madhu Kumar, Chairperson, CITRA, Mr. Muralikrishnan Nair, Managing Director, Cyber Proof, Mr. Neehar Pathare, 63 SAT Bombay, Mr. Ajayan, Chairman CITI spoke in the occasion.

The Two days programme has an Industry track today( 7 th February) and an academic and Research track on tomorrow (8 th Feb- Saturday). More than 280 participants from the IT Industry are attending todays sessions. There is also a Hackathon event organized along with the conclave where there are more than 40 participants from various engineering colleges in an around Kerala. The academic &Research Track has more than 300 registrants.
