MoU Signed Between National Institute of Technology Calicut and Gujarat Maritime University
The National Institute of Technology Calicut and Gujarat Maritime University signed an MoU on April 27, 2026, to promote collaboration in logistics, maritime studies, and supply chain management.
The initiative was led by the Centre of Excellence in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (CoELSCM) at NIT Calicut.
The MoU was signed by Prasad Krishna, Director, NIT Calicut, and S. Shanthakumar, Vice Chancellor, GMU.
The GMU delegation included Abhay Singh and Chandra Kant Upadhyay.
The partnership aims to foster joint research, academic exchange, and collaborative programs.
It will support conferences, training, and capacity-building initiatives in maritime and logistics domains.
Speaking on the occasion, Prasad Krishna highlighted the role of such collaborations in addressing sectoral challenges.
Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to advancing research and academic excellence.
