Foundation stone laid for the student plaza ‘97th Avenue’
A Project sponsored by the 1997 batch of Alumni
NITC was proud to host alumni of the 33rd B.Tech batch (1993-1997) at the campus on 28th December 2022. An array of CEOs, Founders, MDs, Professors, Partners, Directors and Scientists graced this memorable occasion.
The 33rd batch who have made the institute so proud with their accomplishments came back in full force to support their alma mater with several initiatives, such as a revamped institute website and a unique student plaza named ‘97th Avenue’.
The student plaza named "97th Avenue" is an initiative sponsored by 1997 batch of B.Tech alumni. Located between the F and G hostels in the campus, this unique facility has been designed by the alumni members from the '97 batch, working with the Department of Architecture and Planning, NITC.
The foundation stone for this project was laid by the Deputy Director Prof. Sathidevi P S, in the presence of the Dean (Alumni and Corporate Relations) Prof. Anil Kumar P P, during the silver jubilee reunion of the '97 batch of B.Tech alumni
