Expert Talk on Geothermal Energy in India- 03 Feb 2025
The Centre for Clean Energy and Circular Economy (C-CECE) organized an expert talk by Mr. Arijit Ghosh, Managing Director of S.A.P Automations India Pvt. Ltd., on February 3, 2025 at 3 PM in the MED Seminar Hall. He discussed about the Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP)—an innovative technology that utilizes the energy stored in underground rock or soil for heating and cooling applications. This technology serves as a direct decarbonization method, contributing to net-zero goals and offering a potential replacement for traditional HVAC systems. The Centre’s Chairperson, Prof. Shaija A, welcomed the speaker, while Dr. Deepa SN concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
Mr Ghosh was later felicitated by the Hon. Director Prof. Prasad Krishna at his chamber.
