Cochin Bakery Inaugurated at NIT Calicut Campus
The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) proudly inaugurated a new Cochin Bakery outlet on campus on 07 July 2025. The inauguration ceremony was led by Prof. Prasad Krishna, Director, NIT Calicut, in the presence of senior institute officials including Prof. Shaija A (Dean, Planning & Development), Prof. Sunitha M. S. (Dean, Faculty & Staff Welfare & Registrar In-charge), and Prof. Satyananda Panda (Dean, Student Welfare).
The addition of Cochin Bakery is a welcome enhancement to NITC’s expanding campus amenities, aiming to serve the varied culinary preferences of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The new outlet offers a wide range of fresh bakery items, snacks, and beverages in a clean and student-friendly environment.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Prof. Prasad Krishna highlighted the institute’s ongoing commitment to improving campus facilities and ensuring the well-being of its community. The opening of Cochin Bakery marks another positive step in NITC’s continuous efforts toward campus development and welfare enhancement
