Centre for Women Welfare and Social Empowerment, in collaboration with the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) organized an expert lecture on “Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace” on 19th December 2024.
Prof. Prasad Krishna, Director NITC presided over the function. Dr .S. Bhuvaneshwari, Chairperson CWSE, gave an introduction about the centre and its achievements. Dr A. Shaija, Presiding Officer, ICC, introduced ICC and its functions. Dr. Shweta Luthra, Legal Consultant, SASHA (Support Against Sexual Harassment), Bangalore delivered a lecture on Prevention of sexual harassment at workplace to have a safe environment for all employees and students. Adv. Rekha Prasad, District Court, Thrissur gave an insightful talk on gender sensitization.
