Centre for Clean Energy and Circular Economy Organizes Sustainability Certification Program
The Centre for Clean Energy and Circular Economy (CCECE) successfully organized a “Sustainability Certification Program for Academicians” on 31 January 2026. The program was conducted by the Geojit–CUSAT Centre of Sustainability Studies (GCCOS), Cochin, as part of its outreach and capacity-building initiatives in the domain of sustainability. The training sessions were handled by Mr. Joseph Martin Chazhoor Francis, Chief Executive Officer of GCCOS, who shared expert insights on contemporary sustainability frameworks and best practices. A total of 31 participants, including members of CCECE, other registered faculty members, and students, attended the certification program. The program focused on sustainability assessment frameworks relevant to NIRF, IGBC Green Campus ratings, and global leading sustainability practices applicable to technical and management educational institutions.
