BSE Mathematics Teachers' Workshop Held at NIT Calicut
A grand one-day training program was successfully organized for Mathematics teachers of IAME CBSE English Medium Schools. The workshop was jointly conducted by the NIT Calicut Center for Holistic Teaching and Learning, and Math Lab Research.
The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Sunil Mathew, Head of the Mathematics Department at NIT Calicut, who also delivered the keynote address. Dr. A. Sujith, Chairperson of the Center for Holistic Learning, NIT Calicut, welcomed the gathering. Felicitations were offered by Afsal Kolari, Executive Director of IAME, and Dr. Anoop N. Nair, Math Lab Project Director, delivered the vote of thanks. CBSE school teachers from various districts across the state actively participated in the training.
The event featured several insightful academic sessions. A session on "The Future of Mathematics Education: Building Mathematical Thinkers for the 21st Century" was led by Dr. Anoop N. Nair, Project Director of Math Lab. Another session titled "Navigating the New NCERT Curriculum: Changes, Challenges, and Opportunities" was led by Anita K., Head of School Education at the Math Lab Institute. Mashood Mangalapuram delivered the closing remarks for the event.
