First Sports Achievement of the Academic Year 2025–26!
NIT Calicut shines at the Kozhikode District Athletics Championship 2025! We are proud to announce that the NIT Calicut 4x100m Relay Team has clinched the Gold Medal at the Kozhikode District Athletics Championship 2025 with a meet record of 46 seconds, marking the first major sports achievement of the new academic year. Team Members: Reuben Shibu, Sarath Krishna A K, Mohammed Mishal M K, Johns Tomy and Arjun C S The team’s outstanding performance reflects their hard work, discipline, and team spirit. Coach: Dr. Sharmeslal T.V, who has been instrumental in guiding and mentoring the athletes toward this success.
