NITC Students remarkable achievements in Football and Lawn Tennis Team in the All India Inter NIT 2024-25
Football team (Mens): Runners-up in the All India Inter NIT Football Tournament 2024-25
Even though our team began the tournament with a loss, they continued and fought their way through the group stage despite being assigned to the strong group. They defeated the previous champions, NIT Durgapur, 1-0 in the quarterfinals and NIT Bhopal, 4-0 in the semifinals, showcasing their outstanding performance. We narrowly missed winning the title (4-3) in a fierce final match against NIT Raipur, which ended 1-1 and was decided by a tense penalty shootout. The player of the tournament was awarded to Azad of NITC for his exceptional performance and being the top goal scorer (5) of the tournament.
Congratulations to the entire players of NITC for their exceptional performance throughout the tournament. At the outset, I would like to appreciate the commendable dedication and effort made by Mr. Navas Rahman, Footbal Coach who brought it into reality. I also would like to make a note of appreciation to Mr. Sudheep C.R. for his tireless effort and support for the success.

Lawn Tennis (Womens): Second Runner-up in the All India Inter NIT Lawn tennis Tournament 2024-25
Our girls' tennis team marked a triumphant achievement, finishing as the second runner-up in the women's lawn tennis tournament by defeating last year's runner-up, SVNIT Surat, in the losers final. Varshini won her match by a dominant score of 6-1, while Moushmi showcased remarkable endurance, winning 6-4 (13-11 tiebreak). Their victory signals the start of a new era for NITC Lawn Tennis. Girs, you were just Superb !!!!!!
