Plastics, despite their wide utility, have turned out to be a menace due to the negligence and irresponsiblilty of humans.Various methods were developed to manage the menace World wide but none of them could give a total solution for the plastic pollution. In this context the results of my research addressing the problem was thrilling, resulting in an Indian Patent 313842 in May 2019. Later on the technology was funded by MHRD - SAP to study the feasibility of developing the technology as a pilot plant. Thus in Feb.2022, a 20 kg pilot plant for the total conversion of assorted plastics, including PVC was commissioned in the East campus of NITC.
