SAMUDRA: AI CoE Project on Sustainable cities
NIT Calicut has been included in the consortium for Phase 2 of the AI CoE Project on Sustainable cities with IIT Kanpur as the lead institute. NIT Calicut is included in the consortium for the project Digital Twin for Infrastructure (including Physical sensors). Dr. Prateek Negi led this vertical during Phase I of the CoE and the POC development at NITC and will continue to lead the project in Phase 2.
This achievement is a result of the systematic hard work of the SAMUDRA Team led by Prof. Madhukumar and Dr. Harikrishna. The CPMU team evaluated phase 1 through multiple presentations and live demonstrations and highly appreciated all our verticals. NITC now shares stage with IIT Kanpur, IIT Gandhinagar, and IIT Hyderabad in this prestigious project of the Government of India.
